Your crews aren't machines, CEO. Every route tracks crew hours, and exceeding limits triggers mandatory rest days. Ignore crew raises for 2+ quarters? Union strike — routes grounded for 1 to 3 months. Low morale means late departures, which means -5% demand. Pay your people, rest your people, respect your people. A happy crew is a profitable crew. Trust the bird who's seen a few strikes.

When a new slot opens — from airport expansion or rival closure — a sealed-bid auction begins. Find Slot Auctions in the Rivals dropdown or press Shift+U. Three months, all airlines bid blind, highest offer wins. You'll get notifications about rival bidding activity — hints, not exact numbers. Bid high on the slots you NEED, let rivals overpay for the rest. This is poker with airports, CEO. Bluff wisely.
